The June Snackbox by Foodee arrived at the office and it’s filled with yummy goodies. Every time it gets delivered, I get really excited to see what new treasures lay inside. The snackboxes contain healthy, delicious snacks that are ethically produced by small to large companies. The products that you will receive are gluten-free and organic. Each snack box is well-curated by their staff. There are 3 subscriptions to choose from one month ($33 per box), three months ($37 per box), or six months ($24 per box).
The boxes are always filled up to the top. This time, there are 13 products included in the box.
Pirates Booty are baked rice and corn puffs. It came in the veggie flavour. It essentially tasted like cheese puffs, but it was green.
Strawberry and banana dried fruit crisps are not bad at all but was a bit tart.
Bliss balls contains a huge chocolate ball inside. It will probably take you a couple bites to devour it all. I’ve never heard of this product before and its also a Canadian company. So nice of the Snackbox to feature local products.
Natural Nectar Gluten Free Cracklebred was a favorite in the office. It’s light and crispy. The cracklebred reminded us of rice crispies.
Surf Sweets Sour Berry Bears were one of my favorite items. They are a bit sour but really enjoyable. Some people in the office didn’t really enjoy it.
New World Natural Food’s Organic Chocolate Hazelnut Butter is the healthy version of Nutella. It’s not as sweet, so there is a hint of bitter taste to it. You also need to mix it around before you begin spreading it on your toast because the oil builds up in a layer. This product wasn’t for me, I think I’ll stick with Nutella.
Hemp Hearts are quite good. It has a nice nutty flavour to it and going great with salads, cereal and yogurt.
Kind Plus Protein bars are probably the best protein bars I’ve had. The flavour is the peanut butter dark chocolate. As a women, I really enjoyed it! Whats not to like?
Organic Vitamin C Lollipops was a strange item in the box. I would have never thought organic lollipop exist. Not the most healthy item to have in a snack box.
Organic Mulberry was an odd item. It didn’t look very appealing. The fruit looks so much better when its not dried.
Inka Chips Plantain Chips are addictive as usual. It was interesting how this snackbox had 2 types of dried bananas. Snacks like these are great since you can just have it by your desk and munch away.
To go with all those snack, you definitely need to wash them down with a drink. I like how the snackbox does include a beverage of some kind. The Raspberry Lemonade drink by Santa Cruz is still sitting in the drawer of my desk. I’m a tea and coffee type of person.
SeaSnax is in the box and the roasted seaweed in onion flavour. I love seaweed.
Overall, I enjoyed the Snackbox! Every month, it is an adventure to see whats inside. Since I don’t really actively search for products, it good that some of the best organic and gluten free products are inside to test out. Even though the products are natural or organic, it doesn’t necessarily mean they are 100% healthy.
