SVNS Hard 7UP: Original and Lemonade Taste Test

SVNS Hard 7UP combines alcohol with the refreshing taste of 7UP – with 0g of sugar and a 7% ABV per can (355 ml) – and is the latest collaboration between two iconic companies – Labatt Breweries of Canada and PepsiCo.

We got to try both flavours – original and lemonade for an honest taste test.

Taste Test: SVNS Hard 7UP Original

It’s a perfect drink for the Summer. Very refreshing and it’s what you would expect from mixing vodka with 7Up Zero Sugar. Because it has 0g of sugar, the aspartame aftertaste isn’t great, but that’s the same for all 0g sugar alcoholic beverages, but it’s something important to note if that does bother you. 7% ABV is pretty good for this type of beverage.

Taste Test: SVNS Hard 7UP Lemonade

If you’re looking for something a little less basic, the SVNS Hard 7UP Lemonade gives more depth of flavour for the hot Summers. You get the tartness from the lemons balanced with the perceived “sweetness”. You’ll still get the aspartame aftertaste like in the original flavour.

Where to Buy

SVNS Hard 7UP is exclusively available in Canada in 355ml single-serve cans, and 6 or 12 packs in two flavours: Original (available nationally), and Lemonade (in select markets). A malt-based version is available in Quebec.

In British Columbia, you can find it at BCLIQUOR.
