There’s no better cure for the fall blues than a hearty meal shared with great company. That’s the philosophy behind H2 Kitchen + Bar and H Tasting Lounge’s November dining experiences, each designed to be savoured with friends old and new. By coupling the creative talents of in-house chefs and bartenders with those of visiting notable chefs and spirit specialists, The Westin Bayshore’s dining destinations are proud to present a series of can’t-miss events throughout the month of November.

H2 Kitchen + Bar’s Distiller’s Dinner: November 16 at 6:30 pm

Explore the crisp and complex characteristics of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky during H2’s inaugural Distiller’s Dinner. Take a trip down south with four comforting courses of smokehouse favourites presented by Chef Homer Baisa while being treated to limited-release Old Forester whisky pairings curated by renowned Reserved Spirit Specialist, Joel Virginillo. The evening kicks off with a palate-priming Woodford Reserve welcome cocktail, followed by dishes including Creole Shrimp & Crispy Grits and Smoked Short Rib. The meal ends on a sweet note with a decadent duo of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Bourbon Whisky and banana pudding topped with a butter crumble, whipped cream and pecan praline.

Whether you’re barreling into uncharted territory, or you’re long familiar with the world of whisky tasting, there’s something new for every palate to experience. $68 per person.
