M and I were hunting for a good dessert place to go to after dinner when we were in Calgary. A lot of people suggested Village Ice Cream. They have 2 locations, but we ended up at the Victoria Park location.
Village Ice Cream is handcrafted in Calgary and made in small artisan batches to maintain their quality. They use local and seasonal ingredients where possible.
Lots of choices!
M ordered the Chocolate Fudge Brownie in a cup, which was their special for September. M thought it was pretty average tasting.
Toasted Coconut in a waffle cone came in a huge scoop. It was initially good but then it tasted quite rich, so it got harder to eat. The cone was super good and crisp.
Overall, I wasn’t too impressed by the flavours. I know a lot of people will probably disagree with me and thats ok. What I like about Village Ice Cream is their large scoops.
