The Lamplighter is getting ready for an unforgettable Canada Day celebration with the True North Turn Up, an all-day extravaganza in the heart of Gastown. This day-to-night shaker includes bottomless poutine and free arcade games all day, Absolut Vodka Caesar sampling and Caesar Bar during the afternoon, and live music and DJs at night. A licence extension from the city means the party won’t stop until 4am!
The day kicks off at noon with Lamplighter’s famous brunch menu alongside bottomless poutine and complimentary Caesar tasting and a legendary Do-It-Yourself-Caesar bar provided by Absolut Vodka. With dozens of garnish options, spices, and add-ons you can mix up your own version of this classic Canadian cocktail to enjoy, whether you’re basking on the sunny patio, fuelling up for a beach tour, or taking a break from the heat inside.
All Lamplighter’s arcade games will be on FREE PLAY from noon to 4am so you can challenge your friends to throw down on pinball, basketball, football, baseball, air hockey, and Buck Hunter. Loser buys the poutine.
At 5pm, the atmosphere heats up as the DJs spin their first sets of the day until 8pm when the band will take over to serenade the crowd with singalong Canadian classics until 10pm. The DJs come back at 10pm to keep the crowd moving until 4am.
Advance tickets are available now with the $25 All-Access Pass good for all-you-can-eat poutine and entry to the live band and nightclub DJ sets. The $10 Band + Nightclub pass gets entry for the singalong and DJ sets, with $5 Nightclub Entry guaranteeing the party for the night owls. Buy in advance because prices will increase at the door.
