The Flying Pig group of restaurants will be serving up deliciously merry dining specials this holiday season by offering a limited-edition daily brunch service with 50-percent off brunch from December 12 to January 1, in addition to expanding its All Day Happy Hour Thursday to all three Vancouver locations and bringing back its popular Lunch 45 menu.
Showcasing West Coast comfort cuisine, The Flying Pig’s beloved weekend Brunch Menu features an array of crowd-pleasing sweet and savoury dishes. For a limited time during the festive season, the restaurant’s signature brunch menu will be available throughout month of December, with all brunch food items offered at half-price. Brunch menu favourites range from classic breakfast dishes like Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and Brioche French Toast to Wild Mushroom, Asparagus, Chevre Frittata and a traditional Country Style Breakfast.
The Flying Pig’s festive daily brunch will be available Wednesday – Sunday at The Flying Pig Yaletown, Gastown, and Olympic Village, starting Sunday, December 12 until Friday, January 1, excluding Christmas Day. Previously offered exclusively at The Flying Pig Gastown, the much-loved All-Day Happy Hour Thursday menu will now be available at all three Vancouver restaurant locations. Diners can head to The Flying Pig outposts in Yaletown, Gastown and Olympic Village each Thursday to enjoy premium Happy Hour bites and beverage specials from open until close. Drink features include red and white wine by the glass ($6.50), from Okanagan winery Forty Nine North, TFP Russel Brewing craft lager ($5.50), premium highballs ($5.50) and glasses of red or white sangria garnished with fresh fruit ($6.50). Crowd-pleasing small plates like PEI Mussels ($8), a Cured Meat & Olive Board ($8) and Salmon Cakes ($7.25) are perfect for snacking and sharing.
The Flying Pig has also announced plans to bring back its popular Lunch 45 Menu, guaranteeing diners an efficient 45-minute midday meal for a great value. Express-style lunch offerings like Spaghetti Bolognese, Wild Seafood Duo, Veal Parmesan, Veggie Burger and Fish & Chips are all priced under $17. The relaunched Lunch 45 menu will be available Monday to Friday from 12 to 2:30 p.m. at all The Flying Pig locations.
