Temper: Return of Fan-Favourite Chocolate Advent Calendars, Stollen, Bûches de Noël and More

The festive season in full swing at Temper Chocolate & Pastry thanks to a new Holiday Collection that includes classic confections, stocking stuffers, baked goods and more at the West Vancouver boutique café, bakery and chocolatier.

Now available for pre-order and pickup until Saturday, December 24, Temper’s 2022 festive features help holiday gift givers get in the spirit and spread joy with an all-star lineup led by the return of Temper’s signature and perennially sold-out Chocolate Advent Calendars.

An enchanting Christmas conversation piece, each colourful calendar features miniature chocolates and confections to be discovered behind each window for $65 each and can be customized with signature selections for $70 and up. Previous calendars can also be refilled for just $50 per box.

Temper also taps into traditional holiday classics with sugar-dusted German Stollen fruitcakes made with orange and marzipan available in 350g ($25) and 700g ($40) sizes and Bûches de Noël log cakes available in Salted Caramel, Vanilla Raspberry and Chestnut varieties that serve 8-10 ($49 ea.) available for pre-order until Tuesday December 20 for pickup on Thursday, Dec. 22Friday, Dec. 23 and Saturday, December 24 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Other festive offerings available from the elves at Temper include:

  • Stocking Stuffers, featuring an assortment of seasonally themed, bite-sized chocolates in white, milk and dark varieties, $13 ea.;
  • Festive Chocolate Lollipops in white, milk and dark chocolate varieties $4.25 ea.;
  • ‘TemperMint Patties’, $5.5 ea.;
  • Candy Cane Bark in dark or white chocolate varieties, $15 ea.;
  • Individually Wrapped Taffy in 125g bags, $12 ea.;
  • Hot chocolate bomb-inspired ‘Hot Chocolate Spoons’ in milk- and dark-chocolate varieties and topped with marshmallows or toffee bits, $5.5 ea.;
  • Packs of five Almond or Walnut Shortbread Cookies, $13 ea.;
  • Bags of Mini Chocolate Santas in milk, dark and white varieties, $12 ea;
  • Holiday Chocolate Ornament Showpieces in red, green or blue varieties containing three holiday-themed chocolates, $35 ea.
  • Holiday Chocolate Christmas Tree Showpieces containing six holiday-themed chocolates, $39 ea.

Temper’s signature holiday treats will be available for purchase in-store at the Dundarave neighbourhood pâtisserie until Saturday, December 24 or while quantities last. As this year’s lineup of festive Temper holiday confections are being handcrafted in limited supply, guests are encouraged to order or shop early to avoid disappointment.

HOLIDAY HOURS

Temper Chocolate & Pastry will be operating with reduced hours during the season. The shop and café will close early at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 24 and will reopen on Wednesday, December 28. Temper will be open until 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 31 and closed January 1, 2, 3, & 4, open regular hours January 5th
