Mister Ice Cream Bar set to open this summer in Kitsilano

It’s about to get a whole lot sweeter in Kitsilano. Mister, Vancouver’s artisan liquid-nitrogen churned ice cream parlour, is set to open its second location this summer. Located at 1835 West 1st Avenue, Mister Ice Cream Bar will serve creative ice cream sandwiches, ice cream pints, and ice cream dipped bars to-go.

“We just signed our lease and are excited to start transforming the 400 square foot location,” says Tommy Choi, who co-owns Mister with Michael Lai. “It’s something we’ve wanted to do for some time now, and we can’t think of a better neighbourhood to be a part of – alongside some of our favourite restaurants, such as AnnaLena and Oddfish.”

With the small footprint, Mister Ice Cream Bar will not showcase the making of liquid-nitrogen churned ice cream live, but will have all the hallmarks of Mister’s original Yaletown location – everything is made from scratch, in-house, using natural ingredients. Guests can also expect exclusive Kitsilano flavours, in addition to Mister’s popular s’mores and brûlée creations.

Mister Ice Cream Bar is expected to open early summer 2021.
