Canadians can now get their hands on the 25th anniversary Pokémon Cards at McDonalds! McDonalds in the United States had them available last February, but months later, it’s our turn. In each Happy Meal, you will get a booster pack of the Pokémon with 4 cards.
The full set has 25 different cards, but with holographic options, it brings the total to 50 cards.

We personally got a Happy Meal on the launch day, but our location didn’t have any of the Pokémon cards or promotional items yet. We ended up with a cat emoji plushie keychain and a Sponge Bob toy. Looking online, it seems like not all locations have the new Pokemon cards. It seems like the roll out hasn’t been as smooth and maybe some location will get their stock a little bit later. It is best to go in-person to see if the location closest to you has the stock. Our location ended up having the cards the following day. Some locations will let you purchase the cards on their own while others require you to get a happy meal. You can always try your luck.

We always get a happy meal with ours for the full experience. We will be ordering lots of the hot cakes happy meal for breakfast until we get the holographic Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur.
