Michigan Noodle Restaurant: Noodle Soup and Crazy Amazing Dumplings

MedicalGiraffe is back in town! Since she made me pick her up at the Airport, we grabbed a quick bite in Richmond. We had no idea where we were going but we somehow ended up at Michigan Noodle Restaurant. We had no idea what to expect. Since it was lunch, they had some really cheap lunch specials and the congee and noodles were cheap.

The interior is not too bad and have lots of seats. During lunch time it wasn’t too busy.

Spicy Eggplant on Rice is on their lunch menu and it was really large. It’s one of those items that are meant to be shared…. or perhaps you have a large stomach. It was a little bit spicy, but it’s not too bad.

If you needed to add more flavour in your food, they have you usual sauces and spices to add a kick to your food.

Shrimp and pork dumpling noodle soup ($4.80) was surprisingly really good! The dumplings were some of the best dumplings I have ever had. Very good flavour and I could eat this all day. This is my type of comfort food!

Overall good stuff, but for lunch I would stick with congee or the noodle soup!

Words of Wisdom:

  • Cash Only
  • Parking in front
  • Under $10
  • Mediocre service
  • Must get noodle soup (with dumplings or wontons) or congee
