SUNDAY SURF-AND-TURF DINNERS FOR TWO

Every Sunday until the calendar turns to 2022, Fanny Bay will warm up the weekends with Surf-and-Turf Dinners for Two for $99 plus tax. The prix-fixe menu features an appetizer course of six oysters, showcase main course of a fresh ½ Dungeness crab or Canadian Lobster (depending on the day’s catch), four prawns, four scallops and a 10-oz New York AAA striploin with mushrooms, green beans, roasted potatoes and vegetables, and a dessert course of crème brûlée or chocolate tart.
RETAIL MARKET PRE-ORDERS FOR CHRISTMAS EVE
Online Ordering Opens Friday, December 10
The Fanny Bay retail market is providing holiday hosts with a full bounty of the city’s best freshest live shellfish selection that includes oysters, mussels, clams, geoduck, crab and lobster and a wide array of smoked, cured and frozen seafood as well as specialty curated boxes and kits to help hosts build the perfect festive seafood feast. Heading out of town for the holidays? Staff can also pack items for travel for those celebrating with friends and family outside of the city or province.
The Fanny Bay retail market will begin taking pre-orders for Christmas Eve pickups via its website on Friday, December 10, and seafood lovers are strongly urged to order well in advance to avoid any holiday disappointment. The retail market will be open for pickups on Christmas Eve (Friday, December 24) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. but will be closed for Christmas Day (Saturday, December 25).
NEW YEAR’S EVE ON THE HALF SHELL
Friday, December 31
Ring in the New Year in signature Fanny Bay style with oysters and Champagne or sparkling wine starting at 3 p.m. on Friday, December 31. Throughout the afternoon and evening, Fanny Bay will offer a special selection of oysters including: Fanny Bay (cucumber, slate finish); Sun Seeker(firm, sweet, light brine); Kusshi(firm, sweet, seaweed finish); Kumamoto(fruity, green melon, sweet); Shigoku(cucumber, salt snap); Fat Bastard(melon, salt snap); Olympia(soft copper, long-brine finish); Beausoleil(crisp, heavy brine, hazelnut); Sweet Select(fresh, sweet finish); and Sand Dunes(salty, melon, buttery finish) for $3.50 each or a Shucker’s Dozen for $40, with bottles of Gancia Rosé Prosecco (IT), Jackson Triggs Esprit Brut (BC) or Louis Roederer Brut Premier available for toasting friends and family.
RESERVATIONS, HOLIDAY HOURS AND BUY-OUTS
Fanny Bay accepts reservations for groups of up to six people from 6:30 p.m. onwards through OpenTable, but is currently unable to guarantee tables for groups larger than six. Holiday restaurant buy-outs are also available for fully vaccinated groups of 40 to 60. The restaurant will be closed for the holidays on Friday, December 24 and Saturday, December 25.
MOBILE OYSTER BARS AND SHUCKING STATIONS FOR HOLIDAY PARTIES

Fanny Bay offers mobile oyster bars and interactive shucking stations ideal for corporate parties, client appreciation events and private gatherings of all sizes across the Lower Mainland this holiday season.
The mobile stations are staffed by professional shuckers who will entertain and educate guests while sharing expert insights into the history and geography of BC’s shellfish farming industry and Fanny Bay’s tide-to-table farming process, making for a uniquely festive celebration guests won’t soon forget. Fanny Bay Oyster Bar is located at 762 Cambie Street and is open for dine-in service and takeout seven days a week from 3 to 10 p.m. with daily Happy Hour service from 3 to 6 p.m. The Fanny Bay retail market is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and offers fresh and smoked seafood selections, premium shellfish and oysters from British Columbia and Washington State, gourmet pantry items, seafood boxes and specialty kits available to order online for pick-up or home delivery.
