Fable: Boozy Brunch Option Starting this Weekend

Boozy Brunch menus are making their debut at Kitsilano’s Fable Kitchen (1944 W 4th Ave.), Mount Pleasant’s Fable Diner (151 E Broadway) and Downtown’s Fable Diner & Bar (755 Richards St.) this weekend and giving weekend warriors and late risers alike plenty of reasons to get up and at ’em this summer.

Taking centre stage at each Fable location from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on June 24 & 25, on Canada Day July 1, July 29 & 30 and Aug. 26 & 27, Boozy Brunch promises to help guests rise and shine via beverage features that include Stealth Caesars, feature MimosasCocktails and Shots and sleeves of local draught beer from the best of BC’s craft community.

Fable Diner’s Boozy Brunch offerings include: Stealth Caesars (Beefeater gin, Caesar mix with Clamato, Walters and three Fable Diner hot sauces, $5), feature Mimosas (house-made fruit syrup, organic Prosecco, $6), feature Cocktails ($5), $4 sleeves of Phillips Brewing Tilt Lager and French Toast shots.

The Brunch menu includes such highlights as Avocado, Ham, Smoked Salmon or Fried Chicken Eggs BenniesBreakfast ‘Samiches’ and sweet and savoury mains like Roast Duck-topped PancakesSteak & Eggs, Huevos Rancheros and vegan Pleasant Bowls, among others.

The Boozy Brunch lineup at Fable Kitchen features Stealth Caesars (Beefeater gin, Caesar mix with Clamato, Walters and three Fable Diner hot sauces, $5), feature Mimosas (house-made fruit syrup, organic Prosecco, $7), feature Cocktails ($5), $6 sleeves of Parkside Pilsner and Classic Margaritas (fresh lime, Espolon Agave Tequila, Triple Sec, simple syrup, $7).

The Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded restaurant’s brunch menu includes farm-to-table fare such as Veggie, Pork Belly and Rotating Feature Eggs BenniesRicotta ToastPulled Pork Johnny Cakes, the Kitsilano Vegan Bowl, and more.

Fable Diner & Bar also features its famous Prohibition Brunch for $29.99 every Saturday and Sunday. The five-course feast offers guests a choice of: coffee or tea; choice of house cocktail (or mocktail); fresh-baked savoury treat with house-whipped butter; choice of classic Fable brunch favourites like Eggs Benny, All-Day Breakfast, Avocado Super Food Toast and more; and a fresh-baked sweet treat to finish.
