Burger King Canada: BK Big Fish Sandwich Review

I didn’t realize Burger King has a fish sandwich. Since I really wanted to compare it to McDonalds Filet-O-Fish, I had to give it a try.

Burger King’s BK Big Fish Sandwich has an Alaskan Pollock fillet topped with tartar sauce and shredded lettuce on the potato bun. It looks just like the Filet-O-Fish but without the slice of processed cheese and there is lettuce inside.

The taste is alright, but the tartar sauce is sweet and there is a tang to the overall sandwich. The potato bun is nice and soft. There isn’t a lot of lettuce compared to their promotional images. I’ll probably pass on this next time as Burger King is known for the flame-broiled burgers.

Final Thoughts

It’s still a good option for those who are at Burger King with others and want some options beside beef and chicken.

  1. Who do you think has the best fish sandwich fast food out there? I can’t say I’m very impressed with the Philleo fish at McDonald’s. I live in Langley BC
