Inside Shirokiya Japan Village Walk on the bottom floor of Ala Moana Center is $1 beer all day. We were walking around around all morning and afternoon, so we decided to take a little break and sit down. To our discovery, they have $1 beer specials. We had no idea what type of beer they serve, but apparently it rotates. The day I was here, they had a lager from Primo Brewing Company, a Hawaiian beer company.
Just follow the signs and you’ll find the central bar with all the glasses and taps.
$1 Beer
This pale lager from Primo Brewing Company is very light and refreshing like a Pabst Blue Ribbon. It goes very well with the Japanese food in the Shirokiya Japan Village Walk, especially deep-fried foods. For $1, it’s not bad.
Final Thoughts
You don’t have to make a special trip here just for $1 beer, but if you’re in the area, you can’t go wrong with the price.
