You know you love a good deal! Uber Eats is planning to partner with restaurants to bring back classic menu items with the prices they were in any given year from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90’s etc.
In 1964, Canadian hockey legend Tim Horton opened his very first store – the Tim Horton Donut Shop – and donuts cost 10 cents each. So on Thursday, November 26th, Uber Eats is turning back the clock to offer a 6-pack of assorted Tim Hortons donuts – currently priced at $6.59 – for $0.60 (plus taxes and fees) exclusively on Uber Eats. This offer is available at participating restaurants in Canada only, while supplies last.
“At Uber Eats, we know 2020 has been a challenging year for many. That’s why we’re taking our customers back to a better time with Uber Eats Throwback Thursdays,” shared Lola Kassim, General Manager of Uber Eats Canada. “We’re thrilled to kick off with Tim Hortons donuts – and encourage Canadians to head back to the 1960s with us and enjoy a 6 pack of donuts for just $0.60.”
It’s definitely a steal, so you do not want to miss out of this deal. What can you even get for under a dollar these days?
