The Teahouse in Stanley Park, Seasons in the Park, Cardero’s and The Sandbar: 2021 Christmas and NYE Menus

Festive feasting in fine style takes on a whole new meaning this holiday season as the Sequoia Company of Restaurants announces special Christmas EveChristmas Day and New Year’s Eve services at its iconic Teahouse in Stanley Park, Seasons in the Park, Cardero’s and The Sandbar locations this December.

Christmas Eve (Friday, December 24)

’Twas the night before Christmas, and guests were invited to gather ’round the table with friends and family to enjoy three-course Christmas Eve dinner menus at Seasons in the Park and The Teahouse for $65 per person plus tax and gratuity, with à-la-carte menu options also offered. 

  • The Teahouse’s Christmas Eve dinner menu offers a choice of appetizers including seafood saffron chowder, Teahouse stuffed mushrooms or harvest salad, entrées like slow-roasted prime rib, roasted turkey with all the trimmings, seared arctic char, and mushroom conchiglie, and torta Milano, dulce de leche apple tart or eggnog panna cotta for dessert.
  • At Seasons in the Park, guests can choose from a selection of appetizers that include roasted parsnip soup, harvest salad and Seasons mushrooms, main courses such as oven-roasted turkey with all the fixings, prime rib, grilled steelhead salmon, and mushroom ravioli, and a choice of pumpkin bread pudding or chocolate truffle cake for a sweet finish to the evening.

Cardero’s and The Sandbar will also be getting into the holiday spirit on Christmas Eve with live music and turkey feature entrées available on Christmas Eve in addition to à-la-carte dining options.

Christmas Day (Saturday, December 25)

Guests can indulge in festive fine-dining experiences that marry traditional holiday fare and inspired West Coast flair during Christmas Day dinner services offered at both The Teahouse and Seasons in the Park for $95 per person plus tax and gratuity with limited à-la-carte choices also available. 

  • Seasons in the Park’s Christmas Day Dinner Menu includes an amuse-bouche of duck confit tart, mid-meal lychee sorbetto palate cleanser and a choice of appetizers (roasted parsnip soup, harvest salad, Seasons mushrooms or Dungeness crab cake), entrée (oven-roasted turkey with all the trimmings, prime rib, ponzu sablefish or butternut squash ravioli) and a choice of pumpkin bread pudding or chocolate truffle cake for dessert.
  • At The Teahouse, guests will enjoy an amuse-bouche of smoked salmon mousse and a mid-meal palate cleanser of green apple sorbet with mint oil and a choice of seafood saffron chowder, Teahouse stuffed mushrooms or harvest salad as appetizers, slow-roasted prime rib, roasted turkey with the fixings, seafood trio of seared arctic char, prawns and scallops or mushroom conchiglie as entrée choices and torta Milano, dulce de leche apple tart or eggnog panna cotta for dessert.

 Please note: Cardero’s and The Sandbar will be closed for Christmas Day.

New Year’s Eve (Friday, December 31)

Merrymakers and revelers can get ready to flip the calendar in signature Sequoia style and raise a glass to 2022 with friends and family at all four of its Vancouver restaurants on Friday, December 31 with the following festive dining experiences: 

  • The Sandbar: It’s a New Year’s Eve seafood extravaganza at the Granville Island staple, which will offer live entertainment to set the mood and a celebratory à-la-carte menu of dishes that includes starters such as smoked salmon carpaccio, lobster bisque and dynamite sushi cones for two, a pair of show-stopping main courses (a surf & turf dinner featuring a 10-oz prime NY striploin and half an Atlantic lobster with all the fixings, or a mixed seafood grill with pan-seared prawns, grilled salmon and roasted sablefish) and a chocolate lava cake for dessert.
  • Cardero’s: The iconic Coal Harbour destination will showcase great views, live entertainment throughout the evening, and a standout feature sheet of à-la-carte dining options and signature Cardero’s favourites that include starters like lobster bisque, beef carpaccio, and beet and burrata, entrees such as miso-sake-marinated sablefish and New York steak and lobster, and a molten lava cake as a sweet end to the service.
  • Seasons in the Park: The ring-in-the-new-year fine-dining feature at Seasons in the Park is a signature four-course, prix-fixe experience for $98 per guest plus tax and gratuity that begins with a Dungeness crab cake amuse-bouche and is followed by an appetizer choice of potato leek soup, beef carpaccio or beet & burrata and a second course of lobster ravioli. For the main course, guests can select a 7oz steak filet, ponzu-marinated sablefish & prawns, or grass-fed rack of lamb before enjoying a choice of chocolate cake or New York cheesecake for dessert. Party favours are also included to help guests ring in the new year!
  • The Teahouse: Put 2021 in the rearview at The Teahouse with a multi-course, prix-fixe New Year’s Eve menu for $98 per person plus tax and gratuity that commences with an amuse bouche of Smoked Salmon Mousse with puff pastry, apple fennel slaw and continues with appetizer selections such as Saffron Chowder, Grilled Endive Salad and Beef Carpaccio. For entrées, guests can opt for Surf & Turf, Spaghetti Frutti di Mare or Stuffed Poblano Pepper and tuck into a choice of Crème Brûlée, Churros or Eggnog Panna Cotta for dessert. Party favours also included to help guests ring in the new year!
