The Teahouse: 2021 Brunch Service Back On The Menu

 The Teahouse is giving Vancouver visitors and residents alike new reasons to get up and at ’em on weekends by bringing back Sunday brunch at the Stanley Park landmark starting this Sunday, October 31.

Put on hiatus during the pandemic, the always-popular weekend services return with a mouth-watering menu of at-turns-sweet, at-turns-savoury selections ranging from traditional brunch staples to one-of-a-kind creations guaranteed to delight from new Executive Chef Sic Kim and his culinary team.

Available Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., some of the highlights of The Teahouse’s new brunch services include:

  • Liège Waffles — seasonal fruit & berries, pure maple syrup, dulce de leche whipped cream;
  • Shrimp Louie Salad — artisanal mixed greens, crispy pancetta, buffalo blue cheese, hard-boiled egg, avocado, red onion, chicken breast;
  • Oeufs en Meurette — mixed mushroom tart, poached eggs, sauce meurette, duck confit;
  • Asparagus Tart — Macedonian feta, spinach, poached eggs, sauce Hollandaise;
  • Shakshuka — San Marzano tomato sauce, chickpeas, cracked pepper, grilled baguette, poached eggs;
  • Grilled 8oz Prime Striploin — caramelized onions, grilled garlic baguette, housemade compound butter, tomato & arugula salad;
  • Chocolate Milano Cake — raspberry coulis, fresh berries;
  • Sunburnt Lemon Pie — candied lemon, fresh berries.

At the bar, guests can add a little kick to their coffees and more by indulging in a list of traditional and signature weekend wake-me-ups and boozy bevvies like Classic or Raspberry Mimosas, Kir RoyalesFrench 75s, Classic and Teahouse Signature Caesars and Aperol Spritzes.

“At long last, we’re thrilled to bring back our brunch service at The Teahouse,” says General Manager Mimi Errahmani. “Chef Kim is giving our guests a new reason to rise and shine on Sundays and gather together at one of the most picturesque places in the city to enjoy brunch with friends and family.”

The Teahouse in Stanley Park is open nightly for dinner service Thursday to Monday from 4 p.m. and for brunch service on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests are encouraged to make reservations via OpenTable or by contacting the restaurant directly at 604-669-3281.
