Harvest season is here and with that marks the return of fall gatherings. The Lazy Gourmet continues to make holiday meal planning effortless with this year’s new Thanksgiving Menu. Vancouver’s pioneering catering company has created a complete feast, fit for two or more, featuring a Classic Turkey or a Vegan Beet Wellington, accompanied by salads, buns, favourite fixings, and an assortment of desserts. Pre-orders are now available online for pick-up at 1545 West 3rd Avenue or delivery from October 7 to 10, 2021.
“We’re proud to continue offering our popular Thanksgiving Menu and helping people celebrate harvest season, family, and togetherness,” explains Kevin Mazzone, General Manager of The Lazy Gourmet. The past Thanksgiving was challenging, and we are ever thankful for all the support our customers have shown us during this time. Although many can now gather around the table again with loved ones, there may be those who cannot. We will continue to offer pick-up and delivery for orders of one or more meals.”
Guests can choose between two main dishes to go with all the sides. The classic feature is a selection of white and dark turkey meat, consisting of brined turkey breast with confit turkey leg. Last year’s popular Vegan Beet Wellington returns, complemented with mushroom duxelle and a spinach and tahini dressing.
“Wherever possible, our culinary team loves to showcase our local, fresh produce, and we’ve always been keen to incorporate delicious plant-based options,” adds Mazzone. “When it comes to all types of food preferences, leave the food preparations to us, and spend more time relishing in this holiday’s meaningful connections.”
