St. Louis Bar & Grill: New Dill-Licious Summer Menu

While dill pickles have been around for centuries, enjoying them in new ways has been going viral across social media. With this in mind, along with its desire to consistently delight guests with Devilishly Good food, leading Canadian restaurant chain, St. Louis Bar & Grill, officially launches its Dill-licious summer menu today.

The new seasonal menu is inspired by a growing consumer love for bolder flavours and an enduring obsession with all things pickle — one of the top food trends of the year.

Spicy Dill Wings for a Limited Time

St. Louis’ Dill-Licious menu includes succulent and savoury Spicy Dill Wings featuring a brand new bold sauce that adds yet another way to enjoy its world-famous wings. Guests with a taste for adventure can opt to wash them down with the Pickleback Shot – a tart take on a chaser that combines pickle juice and whisky.

“From TikTok challenges to unexpected dill flavour combinations, pickles are one of this year’s top food trends. We’ve long been fans – our menu has featured our signature Garlic Dill sauce for over 30 years – and we felt like we were just the folks to take the lead on a dill pickle-inspired seasonal menu.” said Royal Nasager, VP Marketing, St. Louis Bar & Grill.

The new menu also includes Hand-Tossed Dill Pickle Crispers: crispy thin potato slices, fried and tossed in dill seasoning; Cheeseburger Dilly Tots: dill-seasoned tots with crumbled hamburger, bacon bits, gravy, melted cheese, red onions, dill pickle pieces and chipotle dill sauce; and the Big Dill Cruncher, which features seasoned fried chicken breast loaded with a cheesy, crunchy, spicy dill chip masterpiece, topped with Garlic Dill sauce on a brioche bun.

Brine & Brawn Pickle Jar Challenge Activation

Most folks are all-too-familiar with having to wrestle with opening a pickle jar. As part of the launch, St. Louis plays on this age-old struggle by challenging Canadians to do away with the at-home tricks – like using hot water or a dish towel – to put their true love of pickles to the test. Its Brine & Brawn Pickle Jar Challenge pop-up invites participants to remove the top of an oversized jar with sheer strength and determination and will take place at soon-to-be announced Toronto locations this summer for chances to win great prizes and kudos from friends and onlookers.

St. Louis’s seasonal menu is available at all restaurants located across Ontario, B.C., Alberta, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia until Sept. 24, 2023.
