Available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the new menu from Head Chef Alan Older adds an array of creatively delicious dishes to the menu, including a trio of spins on brunch staple Eggs Benedict (Smoked Salmon, Crab and Classic), a towering Chef AO’s Shrimp & Lobster Roll with house-made Old Bay-seasoned potato chips, a selection of sides for the DIY crowd, and more.

Behind the pine, GM and Bar Manager Nicky Annable will stir up a bevy of boozy brunch libations such as Mimosas in orange, raspberry and grapefruit flavours, Smitty’s Caesars (vodka, Smitty’s signature clamato, fresh grated horseradish, lime, pickle), Espresso Martinis (vodka, Kahlua, espresso, shaved chocolate) and Classic Margaritas (Cazadores reposado, Cointreau, fresh lime, agave).

The full Weekend Brunch menu at Smitty’s Oyster House on Main Street features the following:

  • The OG Breakfast (two eggs, applewood smoked bacon, heirloom tomato, hash cakes, toasted baguette);
  • The BLT (applewood smoked bacon, heirloom tomato, lettuce, grilled lemon aioli, hash cakes);

FRIDAY NIGHT GUEST CHEF PAELLA SERIES

Older continues to welcome some of Vancouver’s top culinary talent for his Guest Chef Paella Series as he collaborates with fellow chefs to develop a unique recipe that offers a delicious spin on the signature Valencian staple and serve it up for guests starting Fridays at 7 p.m. The next event in the series sees Older welcome Jose Galindo (The Sardine Can) this Friday, March 31 and Slim’s BBQ’s Oscar Rubio on April 7 before Christian Chaumont, Co-Owner and Head Chef at The Painted Ship, wraps up the event on April 14.
