This Mother’s Day, gift mom a taste of Paris with Ladurée’s exquisite savoir faire sweets. The world-renowned French pâtisserie has launched a limited-edition macaron box collection with Milanese lifestyle brand La DoubleJ, in addition to unveiling a new creation, the Rose Macaron Cake.

“The rose macaron is one of Ladurée’s most classic and popular flavours,” says Olesya Krakhmalyova of Ladurée Canada. “This year, we wanted to highlight the pink rose, which represents gratitude, grace, admiration, and joy. Our new Rose Macaron Cake is a beautiful way to show appreciation for all moms and mother figures in our life.”

Created by Ladurée Canada’s executive pastry chef Eulalie Hermand, the Rose Macaron Cake is available in both individual ($11) and large sizes (from $42 for four). It features rose macaron biscuit with a layer of raspberry crisp, fresh grapefruit jelly and a delicate grapefruit crémeux, nestled in a light rose mousseline cream. It is topped with rose macarons.

Other delectable treats for mom include Ladurée’s stunning Ispahan, Rose Raspberry Saint Honoré, and a new macaron flavour – Red Fruits Bubbly. An edible personalization option is also available for large size cakes.

This year, Ladurée has collaborated with Milanese lifestyle brand La DoubleJ for its limited-edition Mother’s Day macaron boxes ($34 for 7 pieces; $57 for 14 pieces). The box design features a colourful Tree Of Life print, a symbol of fertility, renewal, life cycles, and all types of motherhood for everyone.
