I am a huge Star Wars fan and one of the things on my list to do in San Francisco was to take a peek at Lucas Film and their Yoda Fountain at Letterman Digital Arts Center.

I don’t know anyone who works at Lucas Film inside the Presidio, but there are a few areas where the public can enjoy and take pictures.

This calm and serine space was very quiet when we got here, so there was ample time to be weird and take a lot of photos.

Directly behind the Yoda Fountain, you can walk into the lobby of Lucas Films where there are life-sized Stormtroopers, Boba Fett, and Darth Vader to pose with.

There are 2 large book shelves filled with old books and Star Wars memorabilia and toys.

Take your time and look at all the figures on the walls as they are quite nice.

All the figurines are pretty awesome and the old books really gives it a nice look.

Don’t forget the silver R2D2 close to the King Kong statue.

A fun place to visit at no cost. You can get here by taking the PresidioGO shuttle free of charge or you can easily take other public transportation to get here. Parking may be a bit tough because they have a security guard on their property. Best to be dropped off.
