“The proceeds from the sale of these special Cà Phê gift sets will go directly towards educational and community programming in the DTES,” says Minna Van, founder of Cà Phê Coffee House. “As a social enterprise, our mandate is to employ, train, and support newcomer women to Canada. Our staff assisted us in R&D for the coffee chocolate and coffee scrub, and we’ve even had our discerning aunties test them out.”
Available online now at www.caphecoffeehouse.com, customers can choose from five different gift sets, starting from $55 for the Starter Set with Cà Phê coffee beans, custom black phin, and condensed milk to the Ultimate Cà Phê for $125, which contains Cà Phê coffee beans, custom black phin, coffee server, condensed milk, coffee chocolate, and coffee scrub.
Cà Phê’s popular extra strong coffee beans are exclusively roasted in Vietnam in butter and rum, an ode to Van’s childhood.
Its coffee chocolate is made with 55% Belgium dark chocolate and Cà Phê’s very strong coffee. Each box is equivalent to the energy boosting properties of one cup of very strong Vietnamese coffee.
