Temper Chocolate & Pastry: 2023 Valentine’s Day Treats

 It’s not just love in the air. Temper Chocolate & Pastry is helping sweethearts, secret crushes and special friends alike show their love this February with a new collection of tempting Valentine’s-themed confections now available at the beloved West Vancouver café, bakery and chocolatier.

Created by owner and lead chef Steven Hodge and his talented team of chocolatiers and pastry chefs, Temper’s 2023 lineup of decadent chocolate creations are guaranteed to set the mood and slake the thirst of every sweet tooth this Valentine’s (or Galentine’s) Day with features including Heart-Shaped Chocolate Boxes filled with assorted bonbons, Heart-Shaped Vanilla Mascarpone Mousse Cake with Crème de Cassis heartsVanilla Almond Raspberry Jam-Filled Linzer Cookies and more.

The full lineup of decadent and Valentine’s Day offerings from Temper includes:

  • Edible Heart Showpieces, filled with an assortment of strawberry and crème, 70% dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and passionfruit bonbons in small ($25) or large ($35) sizes;
  • Bonbons in strawberry and crème, 70% dark $2.15 
  • Signature Temper Chocolate Boxes, featuring an assortment of individual chocolates and specialty heart chocolates available in 4-piece for $12, 6-piece for $15, 16-piece for $32, and 28-piece for $56
  • Heart-Shaped Chocolate Lollipops in dark chocolate dipped in strawberry chocolate (vegan) ($4.25 ea.);
  • Solid heart shaped chocolates with strawberry chocolate drizzle (vegan) $5
  • Heart-shaped Peppermint Patties ($5.25 ea.);
  • Vanilla Almond Raspberry Jam-Filled Cookies ($4 ea.); and
  • Individual Heart-Shaped Vanilla Mascarpone Mousse Cakes with Cassis Crème Hearts, ($8 for individual, $39 for 6-8 serving).

Temper’s signature Valentine’s Day confections will be available for purchase in store at the Dundarave neighbourhood café until Tuesday, February 14 or while quantities last. As this year’s collection of Temper Valentine’s treats are being handcrafted in limited supply, guests are encouraged to order or shop early to avoid disappointment.
