Osoyoos Oyster Festival, April 11–12
The Osoyoos Oyster Festival returns with two delicious events that will pair West Coast oysters with award-winning local wines. Kelowna’s beloved Codfathers Seafood Market, a sustainable “fin to tail” fishmonger, is the source for the impeccably fresh bivalves.

The Sip & Shuck takes place on Friday, April 11, from 5 to 7 pm at the Greenside Bar & Grill at the Osoyoos Golf Club. Enjoy shucked oysters, delectable appetizers and samples of fine local wine from Kismet Estate Winery, Gold Hill Winery, Intersection Estate Winery, Nostalgia Wines, River Stone Estate Winery, Nk’Mip Cellars and Domaine Artema Winery. Live acoustic music sets the mood for this gourmet experience. Tickets: $75 per person, plus tax.

The festival’s signature event, the Black Pearl Gala, gets fancy on Saturday, April 12, from 6 to 9:30 pm at Pointe 49° Kitchen & Bar at Walnut Beach Resort. Freshly shucked oysters are again the stars of the show, along with innovative canapés crafted by Walnut Beach’s new executive chef Darien Rozsahegyi, a pasta station, and wines from Kismet Estate Winery, Gold Hill Winery, Intersection Estate Winery, Noble Ridge Vineyard and Winery, Nostalgia Wines, Nk’Mip Cellars and Burrowing Owl Estate Winery. Cocktails from Osoyoos’ own Tumbleweed Spirits distillery will complete the gala evening. Tickets: $125 per person, plus tax.

Pig Out Weekend, May 2–4
The annual, hotly anticipated Pig Out Festival Weekend returns to Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country this spring, offering a flavour-packed lineup of food and wine experiences in a beautiful setting.

The Pig Out Guest Chef Dinner on Friday, May 2, takes place at Manzil Restaurant at Kismet Estate Winery in Oliver, known for its authentic East Indian cuisine. Start the evening in the vineyard garden, enjoying wines from local producers alongside Indian street food-inspired bites. The party then moves indoors for a stunning four-course meal, with each dish expertly paired with wines from Kismet Estate Winery, Domaine Artema Estate Winery and River Stone Estate Winery. Tickets: $129.99 per person, plus tax.

The signature Pig Out Festival takes place on Saturday May 3, from 1 to 4 pm at Cellar Door & More in Oliver. This lively afternoon brings together the region’s top chefs and wineries for a grazing feast of juicy ribs, flavourful pulled pork and freshly grilled sausages, perfectly paired with outstanding local wines.
