Two-time Michelin Bib Gourmand winner, Fiorino Italian Street Food launches new Fall/Winter menu

Fiorino Italian Street Food, the acclaimed Italian eatery in the heart of Chinatown, is pleased to announce the launch of a new fall/winter menu as it celebrates its two-year anniversary and its second Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand award in as many years.

The new Cena (dinner) sharing menu is designed to be served family style and features Italian fare from several regions. Pride of place is given to Florence’s premier street food and the restaurant’s signature dish: Coccoli e Prosciutto (deep-fried dough “pillows” served with aged, 18-month Prosciutto di Parma and whipped Stracchino cheese).

Other regional specialties on Fiorino’s Cena menu include: Arancini (roasted artichoke and Gorgonzola dolce risotto crocchette, white onion sauce, Parmigiano Reggiano); Insalata Caterina (charred treviso and radicchio salad, Pecorino Toscano dressing, candied pistachios inspired by the Florence region); Panzanella (chopped vegetable salad, pumpkin seeds, spiced preserved figs, compressed cucumber, pickled cipollini, bread crumbs also a Florentine tradition); Cipolle Ripiene (pork and mascarpone stuffed onions, sherry cipollini sauce, fried leeks, bread crumbs, influences from the Liguria region); Mediterranean Sea Octopus (pork belly, carrot puree, fingerling potato, crispy pork skin from the Amalfi Coast)Pappardelle Ripiene (wild mushroom and Taleggio stuffed Tuscan Pappardelle, cauliflower mushrooms, roast garlic and marsala mushroom sauce, black or Alba white truffle from Piedmonte); and Osso Buco e Polenta (traditional Milanese dish of slow-cooked veal shank, crispy polenta, asparagus, salsa dolce forte, gremolata).

The Cena menu is available daily from 5:00pm until late.

As part of their second anniversary celebrations, Fiorino will be highlighting noteworthy Italian wines by offering special vintages by the glass every Wednesday night. Wines by the glass will include at least one of the following each week: Altesino Brunello, Elio Altare Nebbiolo, Castello del Terriccio Tassinaia. Also on Wednesdays, one select bottle will be available at half-price, with suck wines as: Chianti Classico (was $82, for $41), St. Michael Eppan Pinot Noir (was $96, for $48), and Tolloy Pinot Grigio (was $75, for $37.50).
