Trattoria Park Royal is conjuring up the authentic spirit and flavours of Italy by introducing a new selection of seasonally inspired Italian fare for spring and summer at the North Shore enclave starting today.
Situated in the heart of West Vancouver’s Park Royal, Trattoria pays homage to the celebrated hospitality and rustic fare found in Italian trattorias, where simple, made from scratch food is paired with casual service, an intimate atmosphere and a wide-ranging list of wines, cocktails and local and import beer.
Offering a true feast for the senses on plate and palate alike, the new spring and summer menu features fresh, locally sourced ingredients and include such highlights as Fresh BC Halibut on Milanese Risotto(brown butter, caper, lemon sauce),Mushroom Ravioli in Porcini Broth Sauce(gem tomato , peas, goat cheese), and Seared Tuna Salad(marinated potato, Tuscan olives, green beans, lemon aioli), among many others.
Whatever the day of the week, Trattoria has plenty of reasons to indulge in culinary tours of the Italian countryside with features like Tratt Tuesdays (all pastas $16 for dine-in and pickup), the original Wine Wednesdays (50% off all bottles of red, white and bubbly) and Weekend Brunch service on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 10:30 a.m.
For those who can’t decide on one dish, the Trattoria dinner menu showcases platters that offer parties of two or more guests the best of all possible worlds courtesy of:
- The famous Pasta Platter (Truffled Spaghetti & Signature Meatballs, Linguine Gamberi, Penne Arrabbiata, Linguine Carbonara), $25 per person;
- The Carne Platter (Beef Striploin, Chicken Milanese, Garlic Prawns, Risotto, Dill Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Brussels Sprouts), $39 per person.
Opened in 2014, Trattoria Park Royal is part of a Glowbal Restaurant Group roster that also includes local landmarks like its flagship Glowbal, Coast, Italian Kitchen, Black + Blue and The Roof, Five Sails, the soon-to-open Riley’s Fish & Steak, and two sister Trattoria restaurants in Kitsilano and Burnaby.
Trattoria Park Royal is open for lunch and dinner service Monday to Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. for brunch, lunch and dinner service.
