Tourism Ch’illiwack spotlights local flavours, features during Dine Chilliwack promotion April 11 to 27

 Tourism Ch’illiwack is springing forward and hosting a Dine Chilliwack promotion offering two-for-one deals, prix-fixe menus, culinary tours and more at local restaurants, wine bars, breweries and attractions from April 11 to 27 exclusively.

The two-week celebration gives locals and visitors alike a chance to explore Chilliwack’s vibrant culinary community and support local businesses while sampling the many flavours and unique fare that can be found throughout the region.

Featured Dine Chilliwack establishments will also be taking part in a Spring into Chilliwack cross-promotion Passport that allows diners to collect stamps that can be redeemed for two-for-one entry into Greendale Acres’ Sweet Spring Flower Festival or the Botanica Tulip Festival.

Fortitude is showcasing a three-course set menu that offers a choice of appetizer (Strawberry Spinach Salad or Mojito Tabouli), entrée (Pesto ‘Springhettini’, Sweet Chili Lime Chicken Flatbread, Zucchini Florentine or Mushroom Flatbread) and dessert (Panna Cotta, Coconut Cream Nut Bar or Roasted Peaches) for $45 per person plus tax and gratuity.

Farmhouse Brewing is giving pizza fans their perfect fix via a two-can-dine feature for $55 plus tax and gratuity that includes a choice of hand-made Pizza and Charcuterie Platter to share and a card redeemable for two on-the-house pints during another visit.

Cultus Lake destination The Lakeside Beach Club is participating in Dine Chilliwack with a prix-fixe three-course feast that features a choice of appetizer (Seafood Chowder, Mushroom Chop, Rossdown Farms Chicken, signature Black & Blue rare steak or Caesar Salad), entrée (Pan-Seared Fraser Valley Duck Breast, 12-hour Braised Short Rib, Steelhead Trout or Pumpkin & Sage Canneloni) and dessert (Earl Grey Creme Brûlée, Chocolate Pie or Sorbet Duo) for $65 per person plus tax and gratuity, with showcase libations that include a Lavender Sour (Empress gin, house-made lavender syrup, egg white, lemon) and Tableside Smoked Whiskey (Canadian rye, cherry-infused vermouth, orange zest).

Kelly O’Bryan’s take on Dine Chilliwack features a three-course set menu for $45 per person plus tax and gratuity that offers a choice of appetizer (Brussels Sprouts or Whiskey Prawns), entrée (Thai Green Chicken or Tofu Curry, Cottage Pie or Phyllo Pork Loin) and dessert (Key Lime Cheesecake or Crispy Mango Puff Pastry with Ice Cream).

Duke’s is delivering the Dine Chilliwack goods via drink specials that include a pint of Duke’s Lager for $4.50, Duke’s Juice (raspberry vodka, orange, lime and cranberry juices) for $5.50 and Duke’s Drops (raspberry vodka dropped in lemonade) for $6.50, with food features comprising a Buffalo Crispy Chicken Ranch Wrap (crispy chicken tossed in Buffalo sauce, bacon, lettuce, tomato and ranch dressing) or House Salad (tender greens, feta, cucumber, tomatoes, onions, house-made blue ranch dressing served with garlic bread, optional add grilled chicken breast or garlic prawns $6 each) for $17 or a Duke’s Beef Dip (house roasted beef, sautéed onions, bacon, cheddar, BBQ sauce, honey mustard) for $20 per person plus tax and gratuity.
