The Flying Pig Adds New Features To The Menu At Olympic Village, Yaletown Locations

The Flying Pig is making every day of the week a worthwhile reason to grab some friends and soak up summer with new Wine Weekday, Prix-Fixe Lunch, and Weekend Brunchfeatures now available at both its Yaletown and Olympic Village locations in Vancouver.

Wine lovers can indulge their grape expectations by enjoying 40% off select bottles of old- and new-world white, red, rosé and sparkling at both Flying Pig locations every weekday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and all day on Wednesdays. Highlights of the list include La Marca NV Prosecco (IT), Orofino Rosé (BC), William Fevre ‘Petit Chablis’ (FR), Tinto Negro Malbec (ARG) and Cannonball Cabernet Sauvignon (USA), among others.

The Flying Pig’s new Prix-Fixe Lunch Service (available weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.), offers guests a choice of appetizer (Pepper-Crusted Bison Carpaccio, Wild Salmon Cakes or Organic Beet + Arugula Salad); main (Seafood Club Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Chopped Salad or Rocket Pesto Linguine) and a sweet finish of Classic Crème Brûlée with fresh berries and almond biscotti for $29 per person plus tax and gratuity.

Weekend warriors and late risers alike can also find their fix on Saturdays and Sundays at both locations from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with a variety of can’t-wait-for-the-weekend brunch features that include:

  • Country Style Breakfast — two free-run eggs, back bacon, sausage, Parmesan + herb potatoes, garden greens, multigrain toast;
  • Asparagus + Mushroom Frittata — local goat cheese, organic green salad, multigrain toast;
  • Organic Granola + Yogurt — market fresh fruit & berries, Greek yogurt;
  • Andrew’s Breakfast Sandwich — griddled brioche, two fried eggs, crispy bacon, beefsteak tomato, white cheddar, arugula salad;
  • Classic Eggs Benedict — two poached eggs, Canadian back bacon, English muffin, Hollandaise, organic greens;
  • Signature Pulled Pork Hash — slow-braised pork, two poached eggs, herbed potatoes, Hollandaise.
  • Optional Add-Ons: Banana Bread; Parmesan + Herb Potatoes; Canadian Back Bacon; Pork Breakfast Sausage; Seasonal Fruit Bowl.
