Temper Chocolate & Pastry is putting the flavours and festive feel of the fall season on full display at the West Vancouver pâtisserie and café by featuring a cornucopia of autumn-themed confections that celebrate the Harvest season and devilishly decadent treats to ward off tricks this Halloween.

Created by Owner and Lead Chef Steven Hodge and his talented team of chocolatiers, Temper’s latest collection showcases pumpkin spice and everything nice as well as an array of frightful-yet-fun chocolate creations that may tempt parents into plundering their kids’ pillowcases when they go to bed.

Fall is synonymous with pumpkins, and Temper tips its hat to the quintessential autumn ingredient with a variety of desserts, drinks and fresh-baked goods that include: Pumpkin Scones ($4.85 ea); Pumpkin-Spiced Lattes (sm., $4.75, med. $5.25, lg. $6); Pumpkin Soup ($4.85); and Pumpkin Pies (individual, $9.50 or 9” pie, serves 6-8, $39) and Cheesecakes (individual, $8 or 9” pie, serves 6-8, $39). Individual Pumpkin Pies and Cheesecakes are available daily, with pre-order required for 9” pies via temperpastry.com.

Beginning Tuesday, October 11, Temper will help homeowners make their Halloween houses the talk of the block with Chocolate Lollipops (milk or dark chocolate, $4.50), assorted bite-sized Frictures in ghost, tombstone and skull shapes ($9.50 per 125g bag); and Skull or Carved Pumpkin Showpieces available in milk or dark chocolate with edible accents and filled with miniature chocolates ($39).

Temper’s signature Autumn creations are now available for purchase online and in store at the Dundarave neighbourhood café while quantities last, and can be pre-ordered for advance pickup by calling the café at 604-281-1152. Temper’s Halloween treats will be available from Tuesday, October 11 until Sunday, October 30. As Temper’s Halloween treats are handcrafted in limited supply, guests are encouraged to order or shop early to avoid disappointment.

Temper Chocolate & Pastry is located at 2409 Marine Drive and is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information about Temper Chocolate & Pastry, visit temperpastry.com.
