As cherry blossoms begin to bloom, Miku, ABURI Restaurant Canada’s Michelin Guide-recommended contemporary Japanese restaurant, invites guests to celebrate the spring season with its annual Sakura Kaiseki. Available for a limited time starting March 31, 2025, this multi-course dining experience highlights the delicate and bright flavours of spring through new dishes by Head Chef Martin Simicek and Pastry Chef Isabelle Valencia.
“Cherry blossom season is an annual tradition in Vancouver, and we are excited to once again create a unique Sakura Kaiseki to celebrate hanami – the custom of cherry blossom viewing in Japan,” says Head Chef Martin Simicek, who works alongside Aburi Restaurants Canada Executive Chef Kazuhiro Hayashi. “We’ve selected several of my favourite premium seasonal ingredients to create a menu that embodies the elegance of sakura.”
Miku’s Sakura Kaiseki ($150++ per person) is available during dinner service beginning March 31, 2025. Guests can also choose to add on sake pairings or sake flights. Reservations can be made online.
