Whistler Creekside’s highly anticipated new cafe, Rockit Coffee Co., is set to officially open its doors on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Located at 227-2063 Lake Placid Road, guests can enjoy their hot java orders alongside gourmet sandwiches, pastries, and snacks in a truly fun, funky, and rock-and-rolling room.

“We are very excited for guests to finally check out our brand new project, Rockit Coffee,” says Pepe Barajas, CEO and president of Infinity Enterprises, which also has popular Whistler restaurants The Mexican Corner and Tacos La Cantina in its portfolio. “Our team has had such a blast creating the space, menu, and coffee program. Whistler Creekside is an amazing neighbourhood, and we are honoured to be part of the growing community.”

Rockit’s drink menu consists of a full coffee program with beans from around the world, cheekily called Espresso Greatest Hits, as well as Funkadelic Teas, a line-up of Belgian hot chocolate, and Aero-Smoothies.

The food program was created by the chefs team at Infinity Enterprises Group, featuring a selection of delicious breakfast wraps, soups, salads, and sandwiches, including playful creations such as the Prosciutto Rhapsody, Kimchi KPop, Turkey Boogie-oogie, and the No Meat No Cry veggie option. Guests can also snack on a variety of pastries, such as croissants, doughnuts, and a host of plant-based options.

As per a previous press release, the space is designed by award-winning Vancouver interior designer Daniel Meloché Design, known for his work in hospitality. Rockit features a playful, interactive, and inviting retro-vibe, inspired by the 70s and 80s, with pops of yellow, brass, and greenery. Guests will feel right at home while taking a breather inside.

“Our goal with Rockit was to make the standard cafe environment fun, and we hope people will enjoy their visit with us and return again and again,” adds Barajas. “The ski season has just started and there is great energy here in Creekside. Come fuel up at Rockit!”
