Praguery, the beloved food truck known for its chimney cakes and ice cream, is set to open Praguery Café, a new cafe concept located in Coquitlam’s Town Centre Park Community Center on Saturday, November 23 at 10:00 am.
Coquitlam’s newest multi-million-dollar community centre will be home to Praguery Café. The new café is a welcome addition and will serve the local community with homemade treats, making Praguery a go-to destination for locals. Featuring bright, modern decor with navy subway tiles wrapping the café counter, the friendly atmosphere invites customers to experience Praguery’s new concept, offering an expanded menu not available at its food truck locations.
With a continued commitment to using and sourcing only the freshest, high-quality ingredients, Praguery Café’s menu is both wholesome and indulgent, with something for everyone. The menu features Praguery’s signature chimney cakes, made fresh daily and baked on demand, served alongside artisan soft-serve ice cream crafted from scratch using British Columbia dairy. Praguery is thrilled to introduce its newest menu items, which includes a Basque cheesecake, cream puffs, a variety of sweet and savoury danishes, focaccia sandwiches and an expanded espresso coffee program.
All pastries are made in-house and baked fresh at the café, offering a wide range of flavour profiles to cater to all tastes. The indulgent Basque cheesecake is set to become a new fan favourite, offering a creamy, mousse-like vanilla texture and a gorgeous golden “burnt” surface. Customers can elevate this treat with a choice of house-made strawberry or hot fudge sauce. Made with choux pastry, Praguery’s cream puffs are available in four flavours: vanilla, chocolate, raspberry and tiramisu. The cream puffs make the perfect treat at $3.25 per puff or are great for sharing with boxes of 4 ($12.45) or 12 ($34.75) available for take-out and pre-order.
Praguery Café is excited to debut a variety of rotating danishes that will include both sweet and savoury flavours. Options will feature creative varieties like pepperoni pizza and cheesy red pepper, as well as fruity combinations such as apricot, raspberry mascarpone, and pistachio cherry. For those seeking a heartier meal, the café will offer focaccia sandwiches, available in both vegetarian and roasted chicken options. The new location will also showcase an expanded coffee menu with espresso-based drinks like lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos. Seasonal drinks such as a Gingerbread Latte will be available during the winter months. All syrups and sweeteners used in their beverages are crafted in-house, ensuring a unique and high-quality coffee experience.
Praguery Café looks forward to welcoming guests on Saturday, November 23 with some exciting promotions for the first 50 customers. The first 10 people will receive a $50 gift card, a complimentary box of four cream puffs and one coffee beverage or hot chocolate.
