The Canadian, mother-and-son duo behind Cedar Valley Selections introduces melt-in-your-mouth pita chips in three new flavours; Classic Spice, Garlic and Herb, and Sea Salt and Black Pepper, all made with organic coconut oil. Made from authentic fresh-baked, two-layer pita, the versatile chips have a crispy yet buttery texture that tastes delicious added to your salad for an extra crunch, paired with your favourite dip, or enjoyed by the handful.

“Cedar Valley Selections started as a way to share my mom’s signature recipes,” says Ameen Fadel, Founder of Cedar Valley Selections. “After overwhelming consumer requests, we decided to introduce a line of pita chips, reminiscent of a traditional homemade pita chip, but with healthier ingredients and an unbelievably light and flaky texture.”

Known for creating Canada’s first bottled Fattoush salad dressing, Cedar Valley Selections continues to bring high-quality and ethically sourced foods to Canadian grocery store shelves, infused with their Lebanese-heritage. Unlike other chips on the market, Cedar Valley Selections’ pita chips are made with all-natural ingredients with flavour reminiscent of homemade pita bread.

“We want to help our community members live a healthy lifestyle, with delicious foods they truly enjoy eating,” says Fadel. “Our pita chips are super flavourful, made with healthy, yet minimal ingredients that taste amazing, providing a yummy better-for-you alternative to what’s currently available on Canadian shelves.”

In addition to launching their pita chips, Cedar Valley Selections has been expanding its line of unique and versatile salad dressings, all made with non-inflammatory oils, healthy fats, fresh ingredients, and zero preservatives. Along with their signature Fattoush dressing, their flavourful lineup includes; Avocado Lime, Lemon Garlic, Pomegranate, Tahini Turmeric, Caesar and Vegan Caesar.

Cedar Valley Selections’ pita chips ($4.99) and salad dressings ($7.99) are available at select retailers across Canada including; Sobeys, Safeway, Whole Foods Market and Longos, or online at amazon.ca, well.ca, spud.ca, or Voilà, by Sobeys.
