Coca-Cola® is releasing a new Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar recipe with a new look and even more delicious and refreshing taste, bringing it closer to a great Coke taste – still with zero sugar and zero calories. Knowing consumer preferences continuously evolve, we are constantly innovating to further improve this recipe and provide fans with the taste they’re looking for and are excited to bring this updated Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar to market.

The updated Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar taste is beginning to hit shelves in the U.S. starting in July 2021, with full nationwide distribution in the U.S. and in Canada starting in August and full distribution in September, as part of the global rollout.

This recipe was achieved by further optimizing the blend of flavors using the same ingredients to deliver a great Coke taste. The new design will be featured on all Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar products, including 222mL and 355mL cans; fridge packs; and 250mL, 300mL, 500mL, 710mL, 1L and 2L bottles – with 0 calories and 0 sugar. Just as the taste of Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar is new, so is the design. The new packaging is simplified and celebrates the iconic logo, beginning with the brand’s original and universally recognized red, with black Spencerian script, signaling the Zero Sugar variety. The updated Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar is already on shelves across Europe and Latin America and will roll-out globally over the course of 2021.

  1. Why did you change a good thing. You would think you would have learned your lesson when you changed regular coke and had to bring it back. I won’t buy it again.

  2. Just drinking my first can of the ‘new’-do not like it-taste is less sharp than black can old coke zero

  3. My wife and I just tried the “new” Coke Zero today. Nope.
It tastes slightly flat and too syrupy. It doesn’t FINISH CLEAN!!!
WTF would you change something that already tasted great? It was your best seller (after regular Coke I assume) and overtook Diet Coke, IMHO a couple of years ago.
    The old adage applies here:
“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
If this is how it’s going to be, then I might as well switch to Pepsi or Canada Dry Ginger ale.
It kills me how Coke just changes things with out the consumer in mind. Probably some cube farm lackey, found out how to save 3¢ on a 1000 and showed his boss.
Yeah, fix it or I, like many others will switch to Pepsi etc. It happened with the whole Classic Coke fiasco.
