Minami (1118 Mainland Street), Yaletown’s destination for contemporary Japanese cuisine, is set to host a one-night-only Winemaker’s Dinner in partnership with Italy’s iconic wine producer Jermann Winery on August 13, 2025. Guests will be seated on Minami’s hidden garden patio, while they enjoy a seasonal multi-course menu, paired with Jermann’s award-winning wines. Bookings are now available online.
Felix Jermann of Jermann Winery is making a trip to Vancouver for the dinner, and is delighted to return. He states, “This night is more than just a celebration of fine wine — it’s a chance to share the story of my family: three generations devoted to the land, to innovation, and to the heart of Friuli. Every bottle we open carries that legacy, and I look forward to guiding you through what makes each one so meaningful.”
ickets are $170++ per person. The five-course menu will feature a variety of unique Jermann vintages, paired with chef Lupe Villanueva’s creations. This may include a Sashimi course paired with 2022 Jermann Pinot Grigio, Zensai paired with 2018 Jermann “Blau Blau” Blaufränkisch, a special entree paired with 2022 Jermann “Dreams” Chardonnay, the sushi course paired with 2021 Jermann “Vintage Tunina” Sauvignon Blanc blend, and dessert paired with 2018 Jermann “Vino Dolce della Casa” Picolit.
