International Chinese hotpot restaurant, Liuyishou Hotpot is celebrating the spring and the province’s moving ahead plan of reopening and announcing exciting updates and seasonal dishes.
Good news for the spice lovers! Liuyishou has recently released an updated Mala Chongqing Soup Base in Greater Vancouver, which is listed as the new Liu’s House Special Soup Base($18.95). Compared to the previous Traditional Spicy Soup Base, the new soup is prepared with more spices and more refined ingredients, which features bigger aroma, richer taste, less unpleasant spicy kicks and a greater balance of taste!
The Coconut Chicken Soup ($31.95) is back in Vancouver! The Soup is prepared with 100% pure coconut water and coconut flesh from imported fresh young coconuts, with no added water, and cooked with fresh free-range chicken marinated with Chef’s special recipe. The sweetness and the incredible aroma of fresh coconut make the broth refreshing, delightful, and incredibly soothing even in warmer weather. The chicken cooked in the broth is a dish to be enjoyed on its own, served with a special dipping sauce made with soy sauce, finger lime and fresh herbs.
Liuyishou’s own Aged Angus Beef for hot pot has been extremely popular since its debut last September. And more varieties of aged premium beef dishes have been released. The Deluxe Aged Beef Platter ($28.95), featuring 2 different cuts of AAA Angus beef, super smooth and bouncy, low in fat and rich in protein, exhibits a superb flavour profile.
The Signature Fruit Tea ($14.95/pitcher), freshly prepared in-house daily with fresh fruits and premium tea, is destined to be a spring and summer hit at Liuyishou as a hot pot companion drink!

Liuyishou Greater Vancouver, with locations in Downtown Vancouver, Richmond and Burnaby, has just welcomed 2 sister locations that are opened in Houston, Texas, and Montreal, Quebec, as the 15th and the 16th location in North America for the group. The 17th and the 18th, in San Jose, California and Chicago, Illinois, are slated to open in late spring and early summer. These 4 locations were scheduled to open in 2021 and are now finally able to end the long waits. A 19th location, in Austin, Texas, is in development and will hopefully open in 2022.
