Laowai Launches Happy Hour Menu Sunday through Thursday: Drinks, Bites and Live Music

Laowai, the Prohibition-era-Shanghai-themed hidden lounge in Chinatown, has launched an adventurous new happy hour-themed cocktail card and lounge bites menu available Sunday to Thursday (closed Mondays) from 6pm – 8pm.  

Perfect for post-work gatherings, Chef Vo’s daily feature sheet offers creations ranging $1 Dumplings (orders of 6), alongside Lemongrass Fried EggplantSichuan Fried Lotus Root, and Rou Jia Mo (Xian-style burger), all for $6 each.

Building on the full beverage menu, $10 cocktail features will be interspersed with live music throughout the week, including:

Tuesday

Half price Baijiu, Baijiu Negronis, and Baijiu Daquiris

Wednesday

Death and Laughter

Oxidized Gewurztraminer, lychee, ginger, rose water, Campari pomelo sorbet

Thursday

Live music + Behind Blue Eyes

Lapsang infused Evan Williams 100 proof, salted Asian pear, apothecary mystic caravan bitters, Taboo absinthe

Located behind BLND TGER Dumplings, Laowai is open 6 days a week, Tuesday through Saturday with service beginning at 5pm. “Ask for the Number 7”.

Patrons are welcomed on a first come, first served basis.
