Giving back has never been more delicious – and simple – thanks to the Kitchen Table Restaurants. The award-winning family of restaurants is proud to be carrying on their five-year tradition of supporting local charities through sales of popular dishes at several of their locations, with a renewed focus on continually offering meaningful support in 2023.

Guests can choose the designated menu item at Ask For LuigiBacaroCarlinoDi BeppeFarina a Legna (North Vancouver), Pizzeria Farina (Main Street), and Pourhouse, and $1 from each dish sold will be donated to a community organization. Each month, a different charitable group is hand-picked; past beneficiaries include Mind The Bar, Backpack Buddies, and Whole Way House.

This year, Kitchen Table raised $22,918.47 across its restaurants, resulting in a tremendous impact on the local community.

“Because of the support that we have received from Kitchen Table Restaurants, we have been able to provide nutritious meals, community building programs, and vital support services for low-income seniors, veterans and vulnerable residents in the Downtown Eastside and across Vancouver, without interruption. We are extremely grateful for their partnership and their kindness in our community,” said Jenny Konkin, President and Founder of Whole Way House, one of the beneficiaries of Kitchen Table’s giving back initiative.

The recipient organization of December 2022 is Saint James Music Academy, a nonprofit music school in the Downtown Eastside committed to building and fostering a musical community for children and youth that encourages social change through the power and love of music. In the new year, Kitchen Table will be supporting the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre (January), BC Hospitality Foundation (February), and Music Heals (March), with additional organizations scheduled in the calendar throughout the year.

“Our goal is to focus on charities and nonprofits that directly surround the neighbourhoods in which we do business with an emphasis on helping children and the most vulnerable citizens within our community,” said Jennifer Rossi, Partner at Kitchen Table Restaurants.

For December, these are the designated dishes at the participating restaurants for Kitchen Table’s giving back program:
