It’s Okay ax Rosie’s BBQ:College football playoff pop-up

A shared love for U.S. college football is bringing two local favourites—It’s Okay and Rosie’s BBQ—together for a one-day-only pop-up in the East Village on December 21st.

The day kicks off with a tripleheader of College Football Playoff games starting at 9 AM, and Rosie’s BBQ will be serving up a special menu of fan-favourite Southern BBQ dishes to keep everyone fuelled for the action-packed day.

Game Day Menu Highlights:

  • Brisket Biscuits
  • Frito Pie
  • 3lb Smoked Beef Dino Ribs
  • Smoked Fraser Valley Chicken Wings with Decatur Sauce
  • Brisket Poutine

To complement the menu, It’s Okay will be offering $5 cans of Phillips Tilt Lager and Tilt Light, ensuring fans stay refreshed.

“Beer and brisket before noon—who says no?” said Colin Canning of It’s Okay. “We’re stoked to have our pals from Rosie’s over for a little game day party. We’ve been big fans of theirs for a while, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll be cooking up for the neighborhood.”

Rosie’s signature 500-gallon Texas smoker, “Hank,” will be parked outside It’s Okay at 2481 East Hastings all day, making it easy for East Village shoppers and residents to stop by for some mouthwatering BBQ while running holiday errands. The full menu will also be available for takeout.
