Hart House Winery Dinner Celebrates BC’s Fort Berens Estate Winery on November 18

On Friday, November 18 2022, Burnaby’s Hart House at Deer Lake will host a special dinner focusing on Fort Berens Estate Winery. The Lillooet winery was recently awarded third place in the list of Top 10 Small Wineries of the Year selected by the National Wine Awards of Canada.

The accolade does not surprise those already familiar with Fort Berens, as the 38-acre winery is known for handcrafting low-intervention wines that perfectly express their place of origin. Fort Berens was Lillooet’s first winery, and has been a trailblazer since its inception. A representative from Fort Berens will be on hand at the event to speak to the 5 featured wines, each of which will be paired with a dish on a menu specially designed by Hart House Executive Chef Raul Copete Vazquez.
