The people of B.C. have supported us and now they need our help. Glowbal Restaurant Group is stepping up to help support our shared community in this time of need. From Friday, August 20th to Sunday, August 22nd, 5% of all food proceeds from Glowbal Restaurant Group’s downtown locations (to a maximum of $10,000) will be donated to the Red Cross BC Wildfire Fire Appeal Fund.
Participating restaurants: Glowbal Restaurant, Coast, Italian Kitchen, Black and Blue and Five Sails.
“We are more than a restaurant group, we are a family of passionate people doing better every day,” says Emad Yacoub, CEO at Glowbal Restaurant Group. “With provincial and federal donation matching, we will be able to donate $30,000 to this worthy cause. We challenge all restaurant group leaders in B.C. to match our donation plan.”
The government of Canada and the Government of British Columbia will each match every dollar donated to Canada Red Cross, which means that every $1 donated will become $3 to support those affect by the wildfires. This will be retroactive to donations received since July 3, 2021, when the Red Cross BC Wildfire Appeal Fund began.
