Cheryl Chang’s Nourish Kitchen launches Lunar New Year Feast Kit

Cheryl Chang, a self-taught chef with roots in Taiwan, the Sunshine Coast and Vancouver, is thrilled to announce the launch of her new venture Nourish Kitchen, featuring specially prepared meal delivery, culinary workshops, and private catering. To mark this exciting debut, Chang is honouring her heritage with the launch of her Lunar New Year Feast Kit, designed for families and friends to cook and eat together. Orders are available online now for delivery on January 28 and 29, 2025.

“Cooking and sharing meals have always been about connection and Nourish Kitchen was born from a desire to offer inclusive, conscious eating—healthy, fresh, and house-made meals that cater to all dietary needs,” explains Chang, who spent five years growing her Nourish brand on the Sunshine Coast while raising her family. “For my debut in Vancouver, the Lunar New Year Feast Kit is my way of bringing people together with dishes that feel personal yet celebratory, made even more special by the incredible local producers we’re collaborating with, such as Dicky’s Dumps and MAMA in the Kitchen.”

Nourish Kitchen’s Lunar New Year Feast Kit ($88 for two; $178 for four) features four dishes for customers to cook together with loved ones. Each kit comes with two steamer baskets with a lid, two chili oil flavours from MAMA in the Kitchen, and prosperity dumplings from Dicky’s Dumps. Custom options are also available. Orders can be placed online at www.nourishforyou.com by January 19, 2025 for delivery on January 28 and 29, 2025.

Chang’s culinary journey began during her university years, working front-of-house at Salmon House on the Hill in West Vancouver, where she fell in love with the energy of restaurants and discovered her passion for cooking. She honed her craft in a variety of Metro Vancouver kitchens, before starting her own culinary journey. Over the years, Chang has worked in a variety of Vancouver kitchens, teaching kids how to cook at Growing Chefs in schools, collaborating with esteemed chefs such as Ono Catering’s TJ Conwi, and Top Chef Canada runner-up Deseree Lo.

“I’m pretty much self-taught and actually did get burnt out in professional kitchens, explored baking, management roles and even finance, before realizing food is my true calling,” adds Chang. “Nourish Kitchen is my way of encouraging people to cook,  eat, and taste together, have conversation that nourishes personal connections and what better time to do it  than  during Lunar New Year.”
