Published on Main (3593 Main Street) is excited to announce the return of Burgundy Week, running February 15 to 23, 2025. For the second year in a row, both wine lovers and novices are invited to explore the elegance, complexity, and diversity of Burgundy’s world-renowned wines, curated by wine director Jayton Paul. Reservations are recommended and can be made online.
“As many oenophiles know, Burgundy holds a special place in the hearts of wine lovers and at Published on Main, we are committed to making them accessible,” explains Paul, who recently visited Hong Kong to pour at the Burgundy En Primeur tasting. “This year’s Burgundy Week is especially personal for us. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Hong Kong for the prestigious Burgundy En Primeur tasting, where I was invited to pour on behalf of Pearl of Burgundy Canada and taste through the 2023 vintage. The experience of meeting the producers behind these exceptional wines in Burgundy itself has given me a deeper understanding of the people, passion, and craftsmanship that go into every bottle.”
During Burgundy Week, Paul has hand-selected a line-up of wines across various appellations, ranging from the approachable and highly drinkable “village” level wines to the exceptional and highly sought-after Premier and Grand Cru bottles. Guests will have the opportunity to explore Burgundy’s vast landscape of flavours—from textural, mineral-driven whites to finessed, expressive reds.
Bottles and by-the-glass options will be available for the week-long celebration. Highlights include:
Domaine Duroché
Domaine Roulot
Maison Leroy
Domaine Dujac
Maison En Belles Lies
Francois Mikulski
Armand Rousseau
Clos des Vignes du Maynes
Theirry Pillot
Domaine Tessier
“I was lucky enough to meet some of the Burgundy producers while in Hong Kong, and can’t wait for our guests to have a taste of their wines,” adds Paul. “Our goal during Burgundy Week is simple: to showcase the rich diversity and exceptional quality of Burgundy’s wines in a way that is approachable, educational, and most importantly, delicious.”
In addition to Published on Main’s own wine list, the restaurant is offering guests’ a special corkage fee of $25 per bottle (half off its usual rate) for those who want to indulge in their own Burgundy collection alongside executive chef Gus Stieffenhofer-Brandson’s menu.
