For one autumn evening, La Tana, Commercial Drive’s Italian wine bar, invites guests to experience the flavours of northwestern Italy with a special collaborative dinner with Frasca Wine. On October 24, 2024, Banda Volpi wine director Kristi Linneboe will be joined by Frasca’s wine principal Federico Raviola as they co-host a wine-paired, five-course menu designed by head chef Kenny Kao. Only 24 seats are available. Tickets are on-sale now online.

“We are excited to welcome Federico to Vancouver and deep-dive into the lesser-known gems of Italy’s northwest. I have a big love for wines from Piedmont – wines from this region are so aromatic and energetic and Frasca Wine is no exception,” explains Linneboe. “These wines are new to our market, and even more exciting, the small appellation of Nizza itself is actually a relatively new regional appellation. It is a top-level DOCG and arguably the pinnacle in the expression of the Barbera grape. I can’t wait for our guests to enjoy them alongside Kenny’s Piedmontese-inspired menu for this special dinner, after all, what grows together goes together!”
