DECORATIVE HOLIDAY MACARON BOX

This winter, the recipes of Maison Ladurée’s patisserie chefs meet the delicate brush strokes of inspired young painter Amandine Delaunay with Ladurée’s highly-anticipated holiday macaron boxes. For her first collaboration with Ladurée, Delaunay has drawn inspiration from the artistry of fine jewelry, particularly gouache drawings, for the festive box decoration.

These opulent boxes are adorned with white sparkles, festive green pine garlands and delicate ribbons reminiscent of Louis XVI mirrors. The gift box not only cradles the delectable macarons but also unfurls into a charming pop-up decoration in one of the boxes, adding an extra layer of sweetness to the surprise.

Available in a variety of sizes from eight to 42 pieces, the macaron boxes feature Ladurée’s classic flavours; Salted Caramel, Rose, Orange Blossom, Chocolate, Marie Antoinette tea, Pistachio, Coffee, Lemon, Raspberry, Passion Fruit, Vanilla and Blackcurrant Violet. Ladurée’s seasonal macaron gift boxes will be available to purchase in Canada from November 12.

CHRISTMAS YULE LOGS

This year Ladurée Paris’ executive and creative chef, Julien Alvarez, has reimagined the traditional yule log in a new design, reflecting the true identity of Maison Laduree, the iconic macaron. This is the first year these creations have been available to purchase in Toronto, following this year’s opening of Ladurée’s Toronto pastry laboratory led by executive pastry chef Alexandra Launay.

Ladurée’s Christmas Yule Logs are reminiscent of the iconic macaron in design and boast a delicate shell enclosing a cream and liquid core, perched on a crispy base of finely blended textures and flavours. This yule log collection is presented in Maison Ladurée’s signature flavours including Vanilla Pecan, Ispahan, Pistachio, Chocolate Hazelnut and Mango Yuzu. Individual servings will be available to purchase from December 1, priced at $13.50. Large yule logs serving six to eight people will be available to purchase from December 13, priced at $98 and must be pre-ordered for in-store pick up.

KING’S CAKE

Continuing the cherished tradition of Epiphany, Ladurée’s King’s Cake (aka Galette des Rois) is made of a delicious crunchy and golden puff pastry, garnished with almond cream, French hazelnuts and milk chocolate chips.

Crafted from scratch daily in Ladurée’s state-of-the-art Toronto and Vancouver laboratories, the King’s Cake will be available to purchase in Canada from January 1-31, 2024.
