The culinary professionals behind Vancouver’s acclaimed Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts will be helping to get Dads grilling this Father’s Day with simple and delicious barbecue kits featuring pre-marinated meats, summery side dishes and decadent desserts.  

PICA’s signature Father’s Day BBQ Kit To-Go includes everything you need for an epic summertime feast all conveniently packaged and ready for Dads to grill at home or take on the road to their favourite park, beach or campsite. The tasty seasonal meal kits include barbecue classics like Maui short ribs, spicy Cajun chicken skewers, chili-lime prawn skewers, crunchy coleslaw, warm German-style potato salad and a sweet corn salsa. The chef-prepared seasonal spread ends on a sweet note with a gooey chocolate-caramel Tiramisu.  

Designed to serve two adults, PICA’s Father’s Day BBQ Kits are priced at $75 and are available for pre-order online at picachef.com/blue-hat-bakery  until Wednesday, June 16 at 11 a.m. Families will be able to pick up the meal packages from PICA’s Blue Hat Bakery-Cafe (1505 West 2nd Avenue) on Granville Island on Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
