Parq Casino is raising the bar for event spaces with the opening of its luxurious new Johnnie Walker Lounge on Level 3 of the downtown entertainment hub and resort at 39 Smithe Street.
Offering elevated views of downtown from an intimate, well-adorned space that can accommodate groups of 50 guests for stand-up cocktail parties or 35 to 40 for seated events and fully customizable food and drink menus, the Johnnie Walker Lounge adds a new level of luxury to holiday gatherings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, corporate or client appreciation events and more.
The exclusive new space also ups the ante for exciting, memorable events with guests able to test their luck and try their hand at poker, baccarat and blackjack with live dealers in both come-and-go-as-you-please or custom tournament format setups, with instructional ‘learn to play’ options also available.
The Bar Menu showcases premium spirits, wine and beer and signature cocktails like the Johnnie Walker Black Old Fashioned (Johnnie Walker Black, bitters, orange twist, demerara syrup), Manhattan Black (Johnnie Walker Black, sweet vermouth, Angostura bitters, maraschino cherry) and the Scottish Mule (Johnnie Walker Black, lime juice, ginger beer).
The Food Menu features a selection of small bites, snacks and canapés to please any palate and includes Charcuterie Boards and Veggie and Seafood Platters, Steamed Bao Buns (Chicken, Pork or Tofu), Mini Crispy Chicken or Pork Cutlet Slider Trios and Flatbreads (Philly Cheese Steak, Cajun Chicken, Pesto Shrimp or Caramelized Onion Veggie) as well as Dessert Platters to add a sweet finishing note to any night.
