Ladurée: New Holiday 2024 Collection

Ladurée, the globally acclaimed luxury French patisserie, is thrilled to announce its 2024 holiday collection. This festive lineup includes the limited-edition holiday macaron and Eugénie gift boxes, enchanting Christmas Yule Logs and the regal King’s Cake. These expertly crafted seasonal pastries and cakes will be launched separately across the holiday season. The macaron and Eugénie gift boxes will be available from November 11. The individual size Christmas Yule Logs will be available from December 4 and the large size yule logs from December 14. To honour the tradition of the Epiphany, Ladurée’s King’s Cake (aka Galette des Rois) will be available to purchase from January 1, 2025. 

Canada shines internationally this year as Canadian executive pastry Chef Alexandra Launay’s Plume Blanche Yule Log is the winner of Ladurée’s competition amongst an international gathering of Ladurée chefs to create the most beautiful Christmas Yule Log. Made of vanilla Joconde biscuit, almond and combava crisp, almond cream, raspberry jelly and Ladurée rosé champagne, vanilla mascarpone mousse and white chocolate petals.

MACARON AND EUGÉNIE GIFT BOXES LAUNCH NOVEMBER 11

In collaboration with the renowned Atelier d’Offard, each holiday gift box is a masterpiece of artistry, blending royal blue and gold in a captivating design concealing Ladurée’s iconic macarons and Eugénie. Inspired by 18th-century elegance, these limited-edition boxes feature intricate laurel branches, gold monograms, and shimmering ribbons, evoking the timeless beauty of precious bonbonnières from the Louvre Museum. These stunning gift boxes are not just a treat for the palate but a visual delight celebrating the art of giving.

Available in a variety of sizes from eight to 40 pieces, the macaron gift boxes feature Ladurée’s classic flavours such as chocolate, vanilla, rose, Marie Antoinette tea, lemon, caramel and pistachio.

CHRISTMAS YULE LOGS ARRIVE DECEMBER 4 and 14

Ladurée’s Christmas yule logs are exquisitely and luxuriously executed French classics. This yule log collection is presented in Maison Ladurée’s signature flavours including Ispahan, chocolate caramel hazelnut, pistachio and Plume Blanche. 

The Plume Blanche Yule Log, is the culmination of an international gathering of chefs, chaired and accompanied by Ladurée Paris’ executive and creative chef, Julian Alvarez. Set with delicate white chocolate petals, the graceful Plume Blanche Yule Log is a tribute to refinement and lightness. 

Individual servings are priced at $13.50 and will be available daily for pick-up in-store at Ladurée boutiques from December 3, while the large yule logs serving six to eight people are priced at $98 and will be available for pre-order starting November 12 for pick up from December 14. At the heart of this culinary creation, frangipane, a sumptuous cream made from finely ground almonds, unites with an incomparably light puff pastry.

KING’S CAKE AVAILABLE JANUARY 1 – 31, 2025

Ladurée’s King’s Cake (aka Galette des Rois) is made of a delicious crunchy and golden puff pastry, garnished with almond cream, French hazelnuts and milk chocolate chips. The main event of this culinary creation is, frangipane, the sumptuous cream made from finely ground almonds. Traditionally, the king’s cake or three kings cake, is associated in many countries with Epiphany, the celebration of the Twelfth Night after Christmas.
