A&W Canada is giving fans a new reason to stop for burgers this summer. Starting June 29, the beloved Great Root Bear, Rooty, is heading on a cross-country adventure with the launch of the limited-edition Canadian Rooty Collection.
The collectible series features five-inch plush keychains designed to celebrate some of Canada’s favourite summer activities. Whether you’re spending weekends at the lake, heading out on a hiking trail, or exploring the country on a road trip, there’s a Rooty for every adventure.
The collection includes five unique designs:

Each collectible captures a different aspect of the Canadian summer experience, making them a fun keepsake for longtime A&W fans and collectors alike.
A&W has long been associated with Canadian road trips, and the new collection encourages guests to bring Rooty along for the ride by clipping the plush keychains onto backpacks, purses, or key rings. The collection was created to celebrate distinctly Canadian summer traditions and adventures.
Fans can add a Rooty keychain to their favourite combo meal for $4.99 or purchase one individually for $9.99. The collectibles will be available at participating A&W locations across Canada while supplies last.
The launch continues a resurgence of Rooty-themed collectibles following last year’s celebration of the mascot’s 50th birthday, which featured collectible stickers and special anniversary promotions.
